'''Jeremiah "Jerry" O'Connell''' (natural February 17, 1974), is an Irish-American television and film actor. He was innate within New York City, and was raised within Manhattan with his younger brother Charlie O'Connell. He is probably better known when "the fat kid from Stand By Me".
O'Connell began his acting career at the immature age. As a tyke, he did commercial function for Duncan Hines cookies. Shortly when at a age of eleven, he landed his 1st feature starring role around Rob Reiner's Stand By Me. As a teen, he starred in the series My Secret Identity, and tended to Manhattan's Professional Children's School.

When you took the summertime break from either NYU, Jerry starred in the feature Calendar Girl along side Jason Priestley and Gabriel Olds. He as well appeared in the short-ephemeral ABC sitcom, Camp Wilder by using Jay Mohr and Hilary Swank in 1992. Within his Junior month, O'Connell auditioned for 2 TV pilots: Sliders and Party of Five. He was offered a role of Quinn Mallory in the TV series Sliders, which run 3 seasons in Fox and two seasons on the Sci-Fi Channel. He served when producer when you took his 4th & final year, & is credited by owning writing & directing many episodes.
O'Connell hwhen since never to return around to star in such moving picture as System Shots, Mission to Mars, Tom & Kangaroo Jack. O'Connell has likewise tried his h& at screenwriting and sold his number 1 screenplay, for First Daughter, to New Regency in 1999. A film was freed around 2004 by 20th Century Fox-based Davis Entertainment.
